The short version
We help people understand mental health and addiction treatment options in Colorado. We do that through a free guide and quiz on this website, and through paid one-on-one consultations.
We are not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, prescribe medication, provide therapy, or bill insurance. Nothing here is medical advice.
We are not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.
We cannot guarantee you a place in any treatment program. We can help you understand your options and prepare, but admission decisions belong to the programs, not to us.
By using this website or booking a consultation, you agree to what follows.
Who can use this
You must be 18 or older to book a consultation or send us your contact information.
If you are under 18, please involve a parent, guardian, or another trusted adult. A parent or guardian may book a consultation to discuss a young person’s situation.
What we actually provide
The quiz and the guide
Free. The quiz suggests a level of care based on your answers. It is a starting point for a conversation, not an assessment, a diagnosis, or a clinical recommendation. Two people with identical answers can need very different things.
Consultations
We offer a free 30-minute consultation and a paid 60-minute consultation.
In a consultation we help you understand levels of care, talk through the options that may fit, explain how insurance and payment tend to work, and help you prepare questions for programs. If you ask us to, we can contact specific programs on your behalf.
What a consultation is not: it is not therapy, not a clinical assessment, not case management, and not a promise that any program will admit you or that any particular outcome will follow.
Booking, cancellation, and payment
Scheduling
You book through the website by choosing a session, a date, and a time. You get a confirmation email with a video link or a phone commitment, depending on which you chose.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Reply to your confirmation email or call us.
Refunds
Paid consultations are non-refundable.
If something goes wrong on our end — we miss the appointment, or a technical failure prevents the session — we will reschedule you at no cost or refund you in full.
If you need to move an appointment and you gave us at least 24 hours’ notice, we may offer to reschedule you rather than refund. That is at our discretion.
If you do not show up
If you miss a paid consultation without cancelling, the session is considered used and no refund is due. If something serious happened, tell us — we would rather hear about it than not.
How payment works
Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. We never see or store your card number. Prices are in US dollars and are shown before you confirm.
Some treatment programs pay us
Treatment programs may pay a flat fee to be listed or featured on this website. Where that applies, we say so on the page.
These fees are flat and do not depend on how many people we send anywhere. Paying us does not change what the quiz recommends, does not buy access to anyone’s information, and does not mean we consider a program a good fit for you.
Our consultations are paid for by you, not by treatment programs.
What we are responsible for, and what we are not
We take real care with the information on this site and in our consultations. We keep it as accurate and current as we can.
But treatment programs change constantly — beds fill, insurance contracts end, staff leave, licenses change. We cannot guarantee that any information about a specific program is accurate or current at the moment you rely on it. Verify anything important directly with the program.
We are not responsible for the treatment programs themselves. If you go to a program we told you about, we are not responsible for the care they provide, their conduct, their billing, or your outcome. Your relationship with them is yours.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything arising out of these services is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim. If you have only used the free parts of this website, that amount is zero.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
None of this limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Your side of it
When you use this site or book with us, you agree to:
- Give us accurate information about your situation, since bad information produces bad guidance
- Not use this website to harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, including us
- Not copy or republish our content commercially without permission
- Not attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site
We may decline service to anyone. If we decline before a paid consultation happens, we refund you.
Our content

Privacy
How we handle your information is covered in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will update the date at the top. Changes are not retroactive — the terms in effect when you booked are the ones that apply to that booking.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
Before anything formal, please just contact us. Most problems are a misunderstanding and we would rather fix it directly.
